Singer Ariana Grande has taken the power to make career decisions away from mom/manager Joan according to the NY Daily News. Her mother’s demands and over protectiveness were giving Ariana a bad rap as a bratty and demanding artist.
“Ariana wants to grow up and make her own decisions” says a music industry insider. She’s looking to singer Taylor Swift as a model for where she wants to be, so she has moved her mother back into more of a supportive role in her career.
Grande is in early talks to join a massive worldwide stadium tour with Justin Bieber following the Nov 13 release of his new album.
