The 41 years The Notebook star is pregnant with her second baby. It looks like McAdams is ready to welcome a new member of the family. She is already a mother to two years old son born in 2018. Although there has been no official announcement from Rachel or her screenwriter boyfriend Jamie Linden, Rachel was seen outside a children’s clothing shop in Los Angeles with a baby bump last week. She was wearing a beautiful peach colored dress with magenta sandals and also a black face mask to protect herself and her baby from COVID-19.
McAdams is known for keeping her personal life personal and rarely shares any such news on social media or any other platform. Even after the birth of her first child, she did not share any of his photos on social media. It was seven months after the birth that Rachel spoke about her son in an interview with a popular magazine. “It’s the greatest thing that has ever happened to me, hands down,” she said in the interview. She also added that after having the baby she realized that her life was not her own anymore. She was getting bored from her life when this baby came and now it means everything to her.
Due to the recent lockdown to stop the spread of COVID-19 Rachel and her boyfriend Jamie managed to spend a lot of time with their baby and they feel like it has been the best time of their lives. “I would be so bored without him around to make it so fun,” Rachel said in an interview.
She also revealed that she enjoys country life and has been spending time in planting okra. Referring towards her boyfriend she said, “Well, I mean, I do the planting and he snacks most of the day.”
Rachel and Jamie started dating in 2016 after Rachel split from her former boyfriend Michael Sheen and have kept their love life a secret. Jamie is known for his film “We Are Marshall” that aired in 2006 and “Dear John” in 2010. They rarely appear in public as a couple and are yet to make their red carpet debut as a couple.
In 2010 when Rachel was asked about her desire for a baby she said that she does want to have children adding that, “It’ll depend on if I find the person I want to do that with.” Now it looks like that the Mean Girls actress has finally found the man she was looking for.
Rachel has worked in a number of films. She is best known for her roles in Mean Girls and The Notebook. Her most recent work includes the Netflix comedy Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga, which was released in June 2020.
