Goalkeeper Pedro Gallese was strong between the posts, recording three crucial saves to secure his second clean sheet of the MLS regular season. This marked Gallese’s first shutout since the season opener against CF Montréal, underscoring his central role in Orlando’s defensive strategy.

The match witnessed the MLS debut of forward Yutaro Tsukada, who entered the field during second-half stoppage time. Tsukada, drafted in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft as the No. 25 overall pick, brings promise to the Lions’ attacking lineup following a successful stint with Orlando City B in the MLS NEXT Pro season, where he notched three goals and three assists in eight appearances.
