This edition of the Allstate Continental Clásico promises another thrilling showdown as the USMNT squares off against Brazil for the first time since 2018. Ranked No. 5 in the FIFA World Rankings, Brazil eyes its 10th Copa América title after clinching victory in 2019 and finishing as runners-up in 2021.

The Allstate Continental Clásico marks the USA’s return to Camping World Stadium since January 1998, when it secured a 1-0 victory against Sweden. Orlando has been a fortress for the USMNT, boasting a record of 7 wins, 2 draws, and 0 losses in the city. Notably, the team holds a perfect 6-0-0 record at Orlando City SC’s Inter&Co Stadium, with several wins in significant competitions.

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer expressed pride in hosting the event, stating, “Welcoming the U.S. Men’s National Team and Brazil is a significant achievement for Orlando. The match will draw visitors to our region, fill Camping World Stadium, and generate substantial local economic benefits. Orlando continues to establish itself as a premier sports destination in the U.S.”

The match against El Salvador in March 2023, where the USMNT secured a place in the Concacaf Nations League Finals, and the crucial World Cup qualifying match against Panama in March 2022, are recent highlights of the team’s successful appearances in Orlando.

U.S. Soccer Chief Commercial Officer David Wright expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration with Florida Citrus Sports, stating, “Camping World Stadium is the perfect venue for this marquee event, showcasing the destination to a global audience.”

The encounter with Brazil presents a formidable challenge for the USMNT ahead of Copa América 2024. Despite the historical record favoring Brazil, anticipation for this match remains high, promising an unforgettable spectacle for soccer enthusiasts worldwide.
