Vucevic on fire as Magic beat Bulls 123-119 to end slide

ORLANDO, FL – The ORLANDO MAGIC pulled out a 123-119 win over the Chicago Bulls, carried by a record 43 points fly Nikola Vucevic. Vucevic had a record night for the Magic, with 43 points, 19 rebounds, leading the Magic to a much needed win. He scored the 13 of his teams first 15 points, and netted 24 points in the first half.

The Magic did have to make up for another bad turnover night, with 16 turnovers leading to 26 Chicago points, Vuc’s performance helped lead them to victory.

Guard Evan Fournier added 20 points and helped get in the way of Chicago star Zach Levine, who still managed to score 26 points.

Cole Anthony scored 17 for the Magic and had 9 assists as he grows into his starting role with the team.

Newcomer Frank Mason played for just under 16 minutes and scored 4 points, including a 3-point shot in his Orlando Debut.

Chicago managed to keep Orlando’s second unit to single digit score, which really kept them in contention, especially when you hold sniper Terrance Ross to 7 points.

With Levines 26 points, rookie Patrick Williams was effective with 20 points against the Magic, and 16 from guard Coby White.

These teams meet again on Saturday for the second half of a back to back at the Amway Center.
