An interview with David Letterman will air on NBC’s “On Assignment” this Sunday at 10 pm EST. In an interview with Tom Brokaw, the reclusive Letterman will discuss the state of late night today, whey he grew the bears, as well s other subjects.
Letterman, retired from “The Late Show” in May 2015 after a record 33 years on late night television. He and Brokaw will also drive around Indianapolis where he grew up and recently made an appearance for the Indianapolis 500 race.
The interview will be a segment of the NBC program that the network touts as David Letterman’s first “in depth” television interview since he left late night..
