It’s summer time! If you haven’t planned a family vacation yet, or maybe your looking for something to do with your significant other these are some great places to think about traveling to this summer.
10. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
It’s summer, and there is no better place to be then lying on the beach with sand between your toes,and the sound of waves in the background. If you are looking for a great family trip to take Myrtle Beach is the place to go. Myrtle beach is one of the top resort locations along the East Coast, and there is something for every one of all ages to enjoy. If you are taking the kids along they will love the awesome family resorts , like the Dunes Village Family resort which is home to a 30,000 square foot indoor water park. Myrtle Beach has great opportunities for everyone to see and enjoy. From historical Navy museums, Ripley’s 5D theater, Family Kingdom Amusement Park, Zip line & rope courses, and so much more.
9. Washington, D.C
Even though it’s vacation it does not mean that you should stop learning. Washington D.C is a great experience for the family to experience together. D.C. has plenty of historical places to go visit, and museums that will intrigue the whole family. From the Smithsonian, Lincoln Memorial, George Washington’s mansion, the Martin Luther King monument , and you can’t forget about the White House! If you want to take a break from touring the D.C. area, you can take a three-hour ride over to Virginia to enjoy Busch Gardens Williamsburg Amusement Park and if you want some fun in the sun you can visit Water Country USA, directly next to Busch Gardens. Busch Gardens is home to the world’s tallest, and first floor less dive coaster; the family is in for a great time together.
8. New Orleans, Louisiana
If you want a place with rich history, and food look no further than New Orleans. New Orleans is the home of great Jazz music, and Mardi Gras but the party continues all year after Mardi Gras. Take a trip to the French Quarter, which is considered a national Landmark, and is home to the famous Bourbon Street where there seems to always be a party going on. New Orleans has plenty of interesting tours to take either by horse and carriage or kayaking through the Swamps of New Orleans. While visiting you have to try true authentic Cajun food, and there is plenty of Restaurants to try if you are into Cajun food or seafood. Since New Orleans sits right on the Gulf they are known to have great fresh seafood. So if you are looking for a great place to experience great culture, and food you will love New Orleans.
7. Barcelona, Spain
This beautiful city of Spain has so much history, and beauty to offer. Barcelona is home to the famous Bull Run, and home to one of the largest soccer stadiums in the world Camp Nou. The historical sights in the city are great to visit like the Gothic Quarter where the Barcelona Cathedral sits, or you can go to one of Barcelona’s many gorgeous beaches to soak up the sun. If you are looking for something to do at night you can visit one of Barcelona’s popular attractions Mont Magica a water and light show that is a sight to see. So if you are traveling with your spouse or family, Paris is a great vacation to take and has something for everyone to enjoy.

The beautiful West Coast city of Los Angeles, home to the stars. This city has so much to offer, from star tours of The Hollywood hills seeing where the stars live, or you can take a tour of Universal Studios Hollywood seeing sets of hit TV series, and movies. If you are a shopper you will enjoy walking along Rodeo Drive seeing some of the top designers, and may even have a star sighting while out in about. If you are a surfer you will love catching some waves in Cali, while in Malibu. If it’s touring through The Hills or catching some waves in Malibu, you will enjoy your stay in Los Angeles!

One of the most beautiful cities, filled with wonderful history, and culture.
