In honor of the 2015 Critics Choice Awards celebrities clad in high fashion attempted to eclipse each other. While all gave their best effort some looks raised the bar while others fell flat.
1.) Mel B
The America’s got talent host Mel B stunned on the red carpet in a black and white, one-piece jumpsuit, and white jacket draped over her shoulders cape style. Slicked back hair, a bright lip, and minimal jewelry completed the look.
2.) Angelina Jolie
Director Angelina Jolie brought in class in a silver Atelier Versace gown. The runching at the waist and flowing sleeves are reminiscent of old Hollywood.
3.) Emily Blunt
Emily Blunt was dressed to kill in a red Emilio Pucci halter gown. Blunt completed the gown with a Jimmy Choo clutch and Lorraine Schwartz gems.
4.) Diane Kruger
Diane Kruger was a vision in blue in a Naeem Khan printed gown. The Inglorious Bastards actress complemented her orient inspired gown with jewels by Repossi.
5.) Jessica Chastain
The Met Gala’s “China: Through the Looking Glass” theme was reflected in Jessica Chastain’s Antonio Berardi gown. Chastain’s long sleek dress with mandarin collar had detailing up the left side and around the neck.
6.) Jared Leto
Jared Leto came to party in a tuxedo with a bright blue jacket accessorized with a pink flower on his lapel. Leto’s real fashion statement was his crystal encrusted loafers.
7.) Leslie Mann
Leslie Mann combined a classic look with current trends. Her strapless tea length dress included sheer panels which gave the illusion of exposed skin. Designed by Reem Acra the gown was both classy and contemporary.
