USMNT Announces 27-Man Roster for June Training Camp

CHICAGO (May 20, 2024) – With anticipation building for the prestigious 2024 Copa America, U.S. Men’s National Team head coach Gregg Berhalter has unveiled a 27-player roster for the upcoming June Training Camp. The players will start reporting to the Washington, D.C. area on May 28, as they gear up for a crucial month of preparation.

Berhalter’s selection showcases a mix of seasoned veterans and promising talents, reflecting the team’s depth and readiness to face tough international competition. The squad includes standout players from top European leagues, ensuring a competitive edge.


The goalkeeping trio features Ethan Horvath (Cardiff City), Sean Johnson (Toronto FC), and Matt Turner (Nottingham Forest). Turner, with 39 caps, is expected to anchor the defense with his experience and leadership.


The defensive lineup comprises nine players, including the stalwart Tim Ream (Fulham) and dynamic Joe Scally (Borussia Mönchengladbach). The inclusion of Cameron Carter-Vickers (Celtic) and Chris Richards (Crystal Palace) adds strength and versatility to the backline. Notably, Antonee Robinson (Fulham) and Miles Robinson (FC Cincinnati) bring agility and reliability to the defense.


In the midfield, Tyler Adams (Bournemouth) and Weston McKennie (Juventus) headline the group with their robust play and international experience. Upcoming Friendlies and Final Roster Selection

The June schedule includes high-stakes friendlies starting with a showdown against Colombia on June 8 at Commanders Field in Landover, Maryland. This will be followed by a clash with five-time World Cup champion Brazil on June 12 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
