Buccaneers face a string of tough challenges in 2024 NFL Season

TAMPA, FL – The NFL released the 2024 schedule on Wednesday night, and the Buccaneers will face several challenges this coming season.

Tampa has known the teams they will be facing for weeks, but now they have the exact order in which they will face them.

One particular stretch is from October 21st through November 10th.

On October 21st, the Bucs face the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football. In 2023, the Ravens had the best record in the NFL at 13-4. Lamar Jackson led one of the most dominant offenses in the league but fizzled in the playoffs once again. They will have something to prove.

Next on the schedule is October 27th and the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons have improved their roster over last year, especially at the quarterback position, by signing Kirk Cousins to a massive contract. They will not be pushovers in 2024.

On November 4th, the Bucs travel to Kansas City, MO, to face the Super Bowl Champions. Enough said about difficulty.

Following Kansas City, Tampa, on a short week, hosts the San Francisco 49ers, the Super Bowl Runners-up, just as challenging, but at least they are at home.

The Buccaneers have a bye week on November 17th, giving them time to rest up and heal after that tough stretch.

Other notable games include a September 15th trip to Detroit for a rematch against the Lions, who beat Tampa twice last year, including ousting them from the playoffs last year, and a trip to Dallas to face the Cowboys on December 22nd.

The Bucs also face the Philadelphia Eagles, the New York Giants, the AFC East, with the Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders at the, an traveling to face the San Diego Chargers and aforementioned Chiefs.

It should be an interesting season to see what Baker and his boys can do, but it won’t be easy.
