Orlando Caribbean Festival Celebrates 6th Year

Orlando, Florida – The 6th Annual Orlando Caribbean Festival brought over 5,000 people which has been traditionally a Haitian festival has brought in artist from Jamaica and Barbados.  34 year old Jamaican singer Serani with such hits as Skip To My Luu, Doh and She Loves Me performed for the first time at the festival.  The festival also brought in singer Rupee from Barbados which such hits as Tempted to Touch, Jump and What Happens in de Party.  The two performers was well received by a mostly Haitian crowd.

The festival started at 4pm and ended exactly at 11:07pm.  Some of the top Haitian bands including T-Vice, Klass, and Disip.  Richard Carve from the band KAI also performed.  Richard started his career in the band Carimi and was with the group for over 15 years.

After 11:07pm when the last band (T-Vice) said his goodbyes, the crowd started their own party until they were kicked out by the Orlando City Police.  The event had no major incident and was very peaceful and enjoyable.
