California Governor pardons Robert Downey Jr.
Actor Robert Downey Jr who famously plays Ironman has received a full pardon from California Governor Jerry Brown for the 1996 drug convictions. The 50 year old actor spent a little over a year in prison and 3 years probation.
“He (Robert Downey Jr.) has lived an honest and upright life, exhibited good moral character and conduced himself as a law-abiding citizen.” According to a proclamation on the Governor’s office website.
The Governor has also pardoned 90 other people, mostly whom committed minor drug offenses.
