All Female ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ Reboot In The Works
A new partnership between George Clooney and Sandra Bullock has turned up an interesting project in the works: a new, all female version of the classic ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ movie. Bullock is set to star in the movie and Gary Ross (“The Hunger Games,” “Seabiscuit,” “Pleasantville”) will direct.
The project was initiated last year by the power trio of late producer Jerry Weintraub, ‘Ocean’s’ trilogy director Steven Soderbergh, and the franchise’s main star, Clooney. Olivia Milch (“Queen & Country,” “Little Women”), who has become a go-to screenwriter for female-centric projects, has been working on the screenplay for months.
The new project brings up question of who should fill the cast of the other 10 members of Bullock’s crew. Hmmmm….
