Accused San Antonio High School Football Coach Resigns
San Antonio’s John Jay High School coach has submitted his resignation a mist the controversy that his players tackled a defenseless referee during a game. The two high school football players, Victor Rojas and Michael Moreno, tackled high school referee Robert Watts while he is setting up for the next play. The kids at first accused the ref of making comments to the team with racial slurs, but later revel on national television that their coach instructed them to make the ref pay the price for some bad calls during the tense game.
Team coach Mack Breed took responsibility in a Thursday resignation letter without expressly admitting to the allegation. See more here
