Orlando City Soccer Defeats DC United for 2nd Home Win!
Darren Williams
Orlando City Soccer scored their Second home win this Sunday against DC United, one of the toughest teams in the MLS right now. OCSC defeated DC United 1-0 at the Citrus Bowl to bump them up to third place in the Eastern Conference and also makes this their fifth game being undefeated. They are on a roll and the Orlando City Lion’s den is not complaining. More than 30,054 fans were in attendance to watch Kaka score the only goal in the 30th off a penalty kick due to DC United too tough defense that actually got physical at times. DC United’s Hamid did a good job stopping most of Kaka’s shot attempts but this one got right by him as he dove to block it. DC United didn’t give an easy game to Orlando City on Sunday, they had a great defense but Orlando was just determined to win it. With temperatures over 89.6 Degrees both teams were given a “water break”, which rarely happens, in the 30th after KaKa made the teams only goal.
