Orlando City SC Defeats Colorado Rapids in a 2-0 Win

After a 25 minute delay due to the evening showers , the Orlando City team kicked off their home match against the Colorado Rapids , after their loss on Saturday , Orlando City was ready to put their loss behind them. This was Colorado and Orlando’s first match up against one another this season.
The first half was off to a slow start with neither teams scoring the first half . Brek Shea had two field shot attempts but would not score , he is later subbed out of the game due to injury . At the end of the first half the score was 0-0 .
The second half the Lions came out to play Cyle Larin would score the first goal of the game for Orlando City taking the game to a 1-0 lead , not too long after Kaka would score the second goal of the game making it his 8th goal of the season . Orlando City would defeat the Colorado Rapids 2-0 , keeping the Orlando City SC in their third spot in MLS eastern conference .
Orlando City’s next game will be back at home on June 30th against Columbus , Ohio’s Columbus Crew .
